WiFi & Bluetooth for Blackberry
Wi-Fi Planet has the inside scoop on the next generation of RIM’s Blackberry devices. According to the article, future BlackBerry devices will include both integrated WiFi and Bluetooth technology. For the professional business traveller however, will the reduced battery life be worth the price of the technology? We are currently getting 3-4 days battery life out of our Blackberry 7230, with casual use.
We also see the inclusion of WiFi and Bluetooth as a response to Motorola’s next generation smartphone, the MPx. Though the MPx won’t have RIM’s push technology, which is what truly sets BlackBerry devices apart from the competition, it will have a large color landscape screen, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a Keyboard.
