Real Networks breaks into iPod

Though we do not agree with any facet of the DMCA, if it is going to be the letter of the law, than large corporations should be treated just as you or I would in this situation. In what could be a last ditch attempt to gain some ground in the online music business Real Networks is saying that they have found a way for its DRM’d songs to play on the iPod.

RealNetworks announced Monday that it has unlocked some of Apple Computer’s most tightly held technology secrets, giving its music a way onto the popular iPod digital music player.
