Sony’s next Playstation will use the company’s latest disc technology, the Blu-ray Disc. With capacities of 23GB on a single side, it will be interesting to see how game producers make use of all that space - especially since they currently only use 2.5/4.5GB on most games today. Also interesting will be Playstation Piracy. While, they will drop in price, Blu-ray Disc recorders will set you back a cool $3,000 USD, not to mention the cost of the media. It would actually be cheaper in that instance to actually, dare we say it, purchase games.
