can you go to dslreports.com/mtest and do a speedtest with your setup, then report back what you got as download/upload speeds?

am curious how good a solution this is compared to a datacard like a Sprint U720

thanks for the speedtest results!

i think bluetooth is a bottleneck capping your speeds.

is there a way to use a USB cable for tethering?

I have tried to connect to the web using M620 as a bluetoth modem. THe screen shows that the phone connects, but then the Mac Internet connect continues to try to connect, then the "mocem Failure" notice appears on my Macbook (Intel). I was able to use my Sony Ericcson T608 as a modem, but I'm not having any luck with the M260.
Do I need to diable the NAI?

I have tried this set up using a bluetooth dongle with my g4 powerbook. Both show they are linked but can't get them to connect. In log it shows "no dial tone" Any suggestions or thoughts. :(

Keep getting Error 67: Authentication Failure. My phone has a data plan, with unlimited use on the weekends... I tried this method (adapted for PC) but it is the phone that is erroring out...

I can use the phone for calling other data services, but I don't want to pay extra for an ISP...

I have a question, don't sprint charge a huge amount of money for connecting the phone as a modem for internet usage?
