Usually Sony is heavy on making sure things are proprietary to Sony, but this time they’ve gone over the top. Their new Sony Librie, though touted for it’s incredible screen, displays books which self-destruct after 60-days. I don’t know about the rest of you but I, on numerous occasions, have put a book down for at least 60-days and picked it up later when I had more time, or felt like reading again. 60-Days to read a book you have paid for, I don’t need that kind of pressure. And obviously any reference books (encyclopedia, dictionary, etc.) would be useless with a 60-day life-span.
